About 100 international students studying at Daejin University visited Daesoonjinrihoe and other historical sites in Yeoju during May 15-16 to understand Korean culture and Daesoonjinrihoe. On the 15th, they toured the royal tomb of King Sejong and the Sinreuksa Temple, followed by the Yeoju Headquarters Dojang. The students were given a comprehensive explanation on the basic tenet and proprieties; they also took a look around the dojang facilities. Ryu, who is a doctoral student in International Trade Dept., said she felt a solemn atmosphere when she entered the Sungdo Gate, so she found herself earnest.

On the 16th, the students, being curious and interested, visited the Daesoonjinrihoe Social Welfare Foundation and toured the unitcare system, treatment units and other facilities in  the geriatric hospital. In the evening, they enjoyed a meal that had been fixed by Daesoon Women's Association. After that, they participated in the welcome event prepared by Daesoon Hanmadang Pungmul Team, followed by the enjoyable recreation time and the talent contest.

The student who won the talent contest said the event was a great help for international students to get closer since there were few opportunities to meet each other and she would take part in the event in the future.
