On February 24th, Daesoon Jinrihoe was introduced at an online conference held at the École Moderne des Sciences Humaines (Modern School of Human Sciences) in Bordeaux, France.

The scholar who hosted this conference and introduced Daesoon Jinrihoe was Professor Bernadette Rigal-Cellard, an overseas editor of the Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia, the international edition of the Journal of the Daesoon Academy of Sciences. Professor Bernadette introduced Daesoon Jinrihoe as a future-oriented religion that will promote the revival of global spirituality based on her experience visiting Daesoon Jinrihoe's Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. Her presentation focused on the scale of Daesoon Jinrihoe in terms of its number of devotees, its role and importance in Korea’s religious landscape, and the education and social welfare projects currently implemented by Daesoon Jinrihoe. She also made some remarks about the ways in which the doctrines of Daesoon Jinrihoe creatively revitalize Korean traditions and Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism.
