Daejin University held an entrance ceremony for incoming freshmen at the school’s main gymnasium on February 22nd to mark the start of the 2023 academic year.

A total of 1,700 freshmen, including 15 entering the Daesoon Studies Department (formerly the Daesoon Theology Department), pledged to take a powerful leap forward as intellectuals. The entrance ceremony was attended by President Leem Youngmoon, the president of the alumni association, multiple university executives, corporate executives, affiliated faculty members, outsiders, and parents.

The entrance ceremony proceeded with opening remarks, an academic report, declaration of acceptance, an oath taken by a freshman representative, and ended with a congratulatory speech.

On that day, President Leem Youngmoon said, “I congratulate the freshmen starting today, and I am proud of our freshmen who have faced many difficulties in their studies due to COVID-19 restriction. They have overcome those times well and bring fresh energy to our university.”
