On May 6, the Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation hosted the “4th 2024 Happiness of Sponsorship and Sharing Grand Bazaar” in the front yard of the Daejin Youth Training Center.

At the event, Chairperson Yoon Eundo of the Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation delivered a welcome address, saying, “As this is the first bazaar to be held since the end of the pandemic, the attendance of many distinguished guests has made the occasion shine even brighter.” This was followed by congratulatory remarks from Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju City: “Thanks to Daesoon Jinrihoe, which always steps forward whenever challenges arise, all affairs in Yeoju move vibrantly. We will continue striving to ensure that Daesoon Jinrihoe and the citizens of Yeoju live in closer mutual support.”

At this bazaar, a wide variety of foods—such as mukbap (acorn jelly with rice), party noodles (banquet noodles), and tteokbokki—as well as clothing, bedding, accessories, and saplings were sold at affordable prices. The schedule was densely planned, featuring nonstop performances including a Nanta percussion show, saxophone music, K‑pop dance, and a staff performance by the Welfare Foundation, allowing participants to enjoy a full day without a moment’s rest.

Jeong Jae-woo, Head of Administration at the Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation, who was responsible for organizing the bazaar, expressed gratitude, saying, “Despite the inclement weather, so many people took part that we even ran short of chairs and tents,” and added, “Next time, we will prepare with even greater care so that the event can be more ample and accommodating.” He extended his thanks to the citizens of Yeoju and the Dao practitioners who participated in the bazaar.
