On May 20, Susan Yap, Governor of Tarlac Province in the Philippines, along with Krishna Buenaventura, Head of Provincial Planning and Development, and other delegates, visited the Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex.
Governor Yap expressed strong interest in the activities of the Daesoon International Volunteer Association (DIVA) carried out in Vietnam. She stated, “We have a deep interest in water supply projects. In the Philippines, many people are still in need, and some of them continue to drink tap water that has not been properly purified.” She added, “If DIVA could carry out its activities in Tarlac Province, we would actively provide the necessary support.”
She also showed interest in the temple’s landscaping, expressing her desire to apply similar approaches to environmental development in Tarlac, further emphasizing her intention for sincere and continued exchange with Daesoon Jinrihoe.
In response, President Yun Eundo said, “We will thoroughly review the project and prepare ways in which we can contribute,” adding, “We will also be glad to assist with matters related to landscaping.”
Tarlac Province is located northeast of Manila and consists of 18 cities, with a population of approximately 1.37 million.
