On September 30th, at the 'Religious Cultural Heritage Deliberation Committee' held at the Jeonbuk Provincial Office, the birthplace of Gucheon Sangje, the Supreme God of the Ninth Heaven (Official name: 'Jeungsan Kang Il-sun Birthplace') in Sinwol-ri, Deokcheon-myeon, Jeongeup-si, was selected as the No. 1 ‘Jeonbuk Religious Cultural Heritage.’

The deliberation and selection process was carried out by committee members consisting of professors specializing in history, architecture, and cultural heritage, as well as religious figures. This designation publicly recognized and evaluated the historical and cultural influence of Gucheon Sangje.

The Yeoju Headquarters Temple is planning to develop historical and cultural content and programs related to the birthplace and nearby sacred sites. Furthermore, in consultation with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and Jeongeup-si, they plan to proceed with projects related to the restoration of the birth home, establishment of a memorial hall, creation of the Sirusan Dullegil (trail), and development of a well and resting areas.
