- 2026-07-20
On June 21 (Lunar May 7) at 17:24, approximately 2,700 practitioners attended and solemnly conducted the Devotional Offering Ceremony for the Summer Solstice. Summer solstice (Haji) is the day of the year with the longest period of daylight, which is why it is also called 'Jangji'. It refers to around June 21 on the solar calendar when the sun reaches its highest altitude, daylight is the longest, and night is the shortest. Therefore, it is the time of 'Irum Sisaeng' (the beginning of the first yin phase) where the length of daylight gradually decreases from this point onward, and it is also the day with the highest solar radiation.
