Daejin University received the Minister of Education Commendation from the Ministry of Education on May 29. This award was in recognition of its contributions to educational development in the "6th Cycle Teacher Training Institution Capacity Assessment" organized by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Educational Development Institute.

President Chang Suk-hwan stated, "I am proud that our efforts to drive field-centered educational innovation, based on a heavy sense of responsibility as the only teacher training institution in northern Gyeonggi Province, have led to a government commendation." He emphasized, "In line with this award, we will continue to beyond mutual beneficence (Sangsaeng) development with the local community and further solidify our standing as a prestigious private institution presenting a future blueprint for Korean education."
