Bundang Jesaeng Hospital (Hospital Director Son Jung-hwan) has been designated as an "Exemplary Training Hospital for Medical Image Quality Control" by the Korean Society of Radiology for three consecutive terms, receiving public recognition for its capabilities in the field of medical imaging.

The "Exemplary Training Hospital for Medical Image Quality Control" certification is a system through which the Korean Society of Radiology evaluates training hospitals on whether they are effectively executing quality management to establish a quality control system for specialized medical equipment, and awards the certification to medical institutions that achieve outstanding performance.

Bundang Jesaeng Hospital received excellent evaluations across major items such as equipment, personnel, facilities, safety management, patient rights protection, medical records and interpretation, and infection control in the quality management evaluation for specialized medical equipment, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and mammography. The certification period is three years, from July 2026 to June 2029.

Hong Hyeok-jin, Chief Chairman of the Department of Radiology, said, "Medical imaging is a core foundation for early detection and precise diagnosis of diseases," adding, "We will continue to strengthen equipment management and expertise to minimize radiation exposure and further enhance image quality, providing safer medical services to patients."
