  • Bundang Jesaeng Hospital of Daejin Medical Center (Hospital Director Son Jung-hwan) achieved the highest grade, Grade 1, in the "2025 Pharmaceutical Benefit Appropriateness Assessment" conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, once again earning recognition for its appropriate drug use and patient-safety-centered treatment capabilities. The Pharmaceutical Benefit Appropriateness Assessment is an evaluation conducted annually by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service to prevent the overuse and abuse of antibiotics and injections in medical institutions and to enhance patient safety.

In this assessment, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital achieved Grade 1 in all major evaluation categories, including the antibiotic prescription rate for acute upper respiratory infections, the antibiotic prescription rate for acute lower respiratory infections, the injection prescription rate, and the number of drug items per prescription. Through this, it proved that it reduced unnecessary drug use and lowered the risk of side effects while simultaneously improving the safety and effectiveness of treatment.

Hospital Director Son Jung-hwan said, "Achieving Grade 1 this time is the result of all medical staff making multifaceted efforts for appropriate treatment and correct drug prescriptions with patient safety as the top priority," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide patient-centered, safe, and high-quality medical services."
