Students from the Department of Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering at Daejin University (President Jang Seok-hwan) achieved significant success by winning 1 Best Academic Award and 2 Excellent Academic Awards at the '2026 Spring Academic Conference' hosted by the Korea Institute of Building Construction, held from May 13th to 15th at Cassia Sokcho Hotel.

In this academic conference, master's student Yoon Jae-kyung was awarded the Best Academic Award for presenting the paper titled 「A Study on the Evaluation of Mechanical Properties and Durability of Concrete Using Mineral Carbonate from Ready-Mixed Concrete Recycled Water as an Admixture」. Master's student Choi Chang-keun also received the Excellent Academic Award for presenting 「Mechanical Properties and Mineral Composition Changes According to Carbonation Curing of Low-Calcium Silicate Cement Blended Pastes」. Additionally, students Kim Do-hoon and Lee Seung-hee won the Excellent Academic Award in the construction management division for their paper titled 「Analysis of the Impact of Repeated GNSS Measurement Errors on BIM-GIS Coordinate Registration」.
