On August 31, the Daejin International Volunteer Group (hereafter DIVA) visited Tongyeong and Geoje cities, which suffered severe damage from recent record-breaking torrential rains, to comfort affected residents and deliver relief supplies. This support initiative was launched to help local residents who suffered from floods and landslides caused by the heavy rainfall in mid-August. Upon hearing the news of the disaster, DIVA cooperated with the Yeooju Volunteer Center to promptly identify the supplies needed on-site, preparing and delivering 30 sets of summer blankets valued at approximately 3 million won.

DIVA's relief activities are a practical implementation of the teachings of Dojeon (Leader), which state, "Take the lead in relieving disaster victims who have suffered unexpected calamities." Such disaster relief activities are part of the relief and charity projects that have been continuously carried out since the establishment of the religious order, following last year's delivery of disaster support funds for the Goseong wildfire and continuing this year.
