At 9:30 in the morning of November 28, 2017, the administrative officials and other members of Daesoon Jinrihoe were gathered to perform Gosa, a ritual in which food is offered to the spirits in order to avoid misfortune and bring good luck, wishing for safe driving and no accident for the automobiles placed before them. The 21 newly bought automobiles included a sky car, rice planting machine, electronic forklift, passenger cars that were bought with the donation money collected from a charity bazaar held on October 20 at Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation, and new cars of individual workers of the order and some branch executives who are in charge of guarding the temple complex. About 100 people participated in this Gosa and at the end of the ritual, they shared the food that had been offered to the spirits.
