On May 16, 2018, seven people from Vietnamese Religious Committee, including its vice president Tran Tan Hung, visited Yeoju headquarters temple complex. Their purpose of visit was to study the influence of Daesoon Jinrihoe’s overseas charity aid work and discuss the plan to proceed charity works that can be certified by Vietnamese government. The group toured around Bundang Jesaeng hospital, Daejin University, and Daejin Welfare foundation in May 15 to 17.

During the meeting with the chairman of Daejin International Volunteers Association, the vice president Tran Tan Hung said, “I was moved when I saw how Daesoon Jinrihoe practice the social activities. I hope that this meeting become the starting point of our further cooperation to achieve many things.” Then, chairman Yoon Eun Ho responded, “Korea has once made improvement using the painful occasion of Vietnam. We would like to put every effort possible for Vietnamese overseas charity aid work in order to return the favor we owe to Vietnam.”
