Ethical Rules

  1. You should adhere to national laws and observe social morals, thereby contributing to the country's prosperity and the people's welfare.
  2. ‘The Three Bonds and the Five Cardinal Relationships’ are the foundation for the Virtuous Concordance of Yin and Yang, the creation of all things in the universe, and the establishment of moral order. Therefore, you should practice filial piety toward your parents, render devoted service to your nation, maintain harmony within marriage to create a peaceful family, show respect to your elders, guide and care for those you lead, and uphold trust and sincerity among friends.
  3. ‘Being Free of Self-deception’ is the golden rule for Dao cultivators. Therefore, do not deceive your conscience, mislead the world, or deceive the people through your words and deeds, nor engage in any unethical or irrational actions.
  4. Do not provoke others to hold Cheok(emotional grudges against you) through your words or actions. Instead, earn goodwill through sincere kindness, and do not be concerned if others are unaware of your virtues.
  5. You sould reflect on yourself every day to examine whether there are any excesses or deficiencies, and strive to improve yourself accordingly.
