As a successor in the lineage, inheriting Sangje’s will and Doju’s dharma to rectify the world
and save its inhabitants on a vast scale,
Dojeon undertook the mission of achieving the Earthly Paradise by spreading Sangje’s virtue worldwide.
To accomplish this, Dojeon classified the activities of the order into two categories:
the Basic Works and the Three Major Works.
The Basic Works include propagation, edification, and cultivation,
which serve as a means of spreading Sangje’s teachings throughout the world.
The social role of religion lies in saving and benefiting all living beings based on faith. To achieve this, Daesoon Jinrihoe has designated relief and charity work, social welfare work, and educational work as its three major works and has been actively pursuing them.
