A Novel Approach for the Eternal Peace
& Harmony for Humankind

The 'Great Creator and Supreme God of the Ninth Heaven (Gucheon Daewon Johwa Jushin)' assumed His great authority to govern the Three Realms (Heaven, Earth, and Humanity) and embarked on a Great Itineration (Daesoon, 大巡) throughout the three realms before finally settling in a Golden Icon of Maitreya Buddha at Geumsansa Temple, situated on Mount Moak in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, Korea. After having spiritually inhabited that statue for 30 years, He ultimately descended into the human world as a historical figure, Kang Jeungsan and carried out the ‘Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth.’

These Works were undertaken to rectify the Degree Number of Heaven and Earth, which had deviated from the normal constant Dao, and to open up the path to an infinite destiny full of bliss. This ultimately leads to the establishment of the earthly paradise of the Later World through the salvation of spirits trapped in isolated dimensions and the world’s populace suffering from calamities.

In the Former World, both humanity and all things were ruled by the principle of mutual conflict, causing the world to be full of grievances and grudges that had gradually amassed since time immemorial. Because of this, divine beings and human beings were in a state of devastation, unable to communicate with one another, and even divine beings could not properly communicate among themselves. Consequently, humanity had fallen into all kinds of calamities and was on the brink of annihilation. These grievances and grudges took deep root throughout various worlds, including the human world, the divine (or spirit) world, and even the invisible microscopic world, spanning the entirety of the infinite universe. The occurrence of the grievances is simply the result of the principle of mutual conflict that ruled and prevailed over all things, people and spiritual beings in the Former World.

In order to resolve this problem, Sangje devised an unprecedented and extraordinary solution, a creation only possible by the Supreme God. Specifically, He made divine beings cooperate with human beings, allowing them to guide one another and engage in mutual beneficence to resolve all grievances and grudges, a process we refer to as ‘Shinin-uido.’ Now, through the practice of the ‘Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence’ based on the key principle that spiritual beings and human beings are interdependent ( Shinin-uido ), all the grievances and grudges are set to be resolved. Additionally, to prevent further grievances and grudges from arising, we should refrain from provoking ‘ cheok ’ with one another and instead strive to promote the betterment of other with grateful reciprocation.

Through these actions, all kinds of grievances and grudges accumulated since time immemorial will be resolved, rendering various forms of mutual conflict and hatred subsided. Gradually, the entire world will be enlightened, giving rise to an Earthly Paradise in the Later World. This is what we refer to as the Daesoon Truth ( Daesoon Jinri ).

The Supreme God, Kang Jeungsan, proclaimed the unprecedented Truth which had never been known previously in the human world hroughout His life of nearly forty years by means of the Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth. After completing these Works, Sangje ascended as a transcendental Being to the throne of Gucheon Eungwon Noeseong Bohwa Cheonjon Sangje , where He penetrates the Three Realms and governs the infinite universe. He is none other than the Supreme God of the Ninth Heaven, reigning with the highest dignity in the highest heaven.

Afterward, the Lord of the Dao (Doju), who inherited Sangje’s authority through divine revelation, created the cultivation methods over his fifty years of religious activities. Additionally, he formulated doctrinal systems including Tenets, Creeds, and Aims.

Based on these teachings, by fundamentally cultivating ourselves through ‘Guarding against Self-deception’ and refining ourselves to return to the original pure essence of human nature, one can attain the true state of ‘the Dao is the self, the self is the Dao.’ Eventually, once fully enlightened to the Dao, we will gain the clarity to perceive all things in the Three Realms transparently, possess the knowledge and wisdom to understand the intricacies of all things in the universe with boundless ability. This state is known as ‘Absolute Spiritual Enlightenment’ or ‘Perfected Unification with the Dao’. We are now sharing this vision to encourage people who are inspired by our message or feel a karmic affinity with us to join Daesoon Jinrihoe, which aims at actualizing an Earthly Paradise through practicing the ‘Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence.’
