A Book Documenting ‘The Characteristics and Meaning of the Holy Land in Daesoon Jinrihoe’ Has Been Distributed to Universities around the World
Cha Seon-Keun, vice director of the Daesoon Institute of Religion and Culture, presented a paper, Is Sacred Site Discovered? Or Created?: A Case Study of Daesoon Jinrihoe, at the Australian National University in 2018, and the paper itself was recently published in Switzerland when it was included in a book, Sacred Sites and Sacred Stories Across Cultures. This book is a compilation of only 12 papers selected through rigorous screening process of a pool of 62 submitted papers. It was published by a well-known publishing house, Palgrave Macmillan, and was distributed to university libraries all around the world.

Daejin University’s Job Center Hosted ‘Flying Daejin 2021,’ a Flight Attendant Training Program
The University Job Center at Daejin University held ‘Flying Daejin 2021,’ a flight attendant training program from June 28th to July 2nd. Flying Daejin is a short-term training program for prospective flight attendants who wish to become professional flight attendants. The program teaches skills such as writing customized self-introduction letters, practical training in in-flight service, image-making, and strategies for successful job interviews. A total of 21 students participated in this program and received specialized crew training.

Daejin Electronic Communication High School Held a Poster Exhibition Promoting Reusable Ice Packs
Daejin Electronic Communication High School always looks to take the lead in environmental protection, and in keeping with that spirit, the school recently signed an agreement to reuse ice packs. Currently, the Geumjeong-gu Office is exhibiting 28 student-submitted posters from the industrial design department of Daejin Electronic Communication High School which promote reusable ice packs.

Representative Kim Seungwon Visited Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation
On June 10th, a member of the National Assembly, Kim Seungwon, of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation. Representative Kim explained that his reason for visiting Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation was his long-standing interest in social welfare. After a meeting with Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation Chairman, Yun Eun-do, Representative Kim toured the Welfare Foundation and remarked, “It is both amazing and wonderful that these excellent services and state-of-the-art facilities are operated in each room of this unit, which is made possible through donations from Daesoon Jinrihoe's Dao cohorts.”

Daejin University’s Department of Nursing Earned a ‘Five-Year Nursing Accreditation Certificate’
Daejin University's Department of Nursing obtained the highest level of certification, a 'Five-Year Nursing Accreditation for the Bachelor's Degree Program' during the 3rd cycle of evaluations for nursing education accreditation conducted by Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education. Nursing education evaluation and certification is a system that evaluates the curriculum, educational performance, facilities, and equipment of nursing programs.
