- Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Won a COVID-19 Public Health and Welfare Minister Award
Bundang Jesaeng Hospital received a Public Health and Welfare Minister Award for its excellent response to COVID-19. Bundang Jesaeng Hospital continues to operate a screening clinic which began in February of last year. From the start of the pandemic, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital offered a ‘drive-thru screening’ service. The hospital operated an advanced 'screening clinic' system that allows the test subject to have a sample taken without even having to leave their car.

- Daejin Welfare Center for Seniors Was Selected as a Top Ranked Institution
Daejin Welfare Center for Seniors was selected as a Top Ranked institution after receiving an A grade in the 2020 long-term care institution evaluation conducted by the National Health Insurance Corporation. Daejin Welfare Center for Seniors has been honored as a Top Ranked, Grade A institution four times in a row since 2012.

- A Ceremonial Offering for a Vehicle Was Held at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex
On May 31st, a ceremonial offering for a vehicle was held just outside of the auto repair shop at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. A 15-seater bus that will be used for Department of General Affairs business purposes was blessed that day. The Dao cohorts who participated in the ceremony prayed that the bus would be driven safely and protected from accidents.

- Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex Held a Rice Planting Event for Clergy
Upper level clergy members began planting rice at 7:00 AM on June 6th at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. The number of upper level clergy members who participated in this event was limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. They planted rice in a traditional way while wearing masks.

- Introduction of Daesoon Jinrihoe at the French Faculty Conference
On February 24th, Daesoon Jinrihoe was introduced at an online conference held at the École Moderne des Sciences Humaines (Modern School of Human Sciences) in Bordeaux, France. The scholar who hosted this conference and introduced Daesoon Jinrihoe was Professor Bernadette Rigal-Cellard, an overseas editor of the Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia, the international edition of the Journal of the Daesoon Academy of Sciences. Professor Bernadette introduced Daesoon Jinrihoe as a future-oriented religion that will promote the revival of global spirituality based on her experience visiting Daesoon Jinrihoe's Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. Her presentation focused on the scale of Daesoon Jinrihoe in terms of its number of devotees, its role and importance in Korea’s religious landscape, and the education and social welfare projects currently implemented by Daesoon Jinrihoe. She also made some remarks about the ways in which the doctrines of Daesoon Jinrihoe creatively revitalize Korean traditions and Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism.
