- Daejin University Graduate School of Public Policy and Management Program Donated 10 Negative Pressure Medical Devices to Promote the Medical School
On November 5th, a medical device donation ceremony was held in the international seminar room on the 2nd floor of Daejin University's main building. University President Lim Young-moon, Alumni President of the whole CEO Programs, Im Sang-cheol, and Chairman of the 41st CEO Program Course, Seo Kwang-soo, all participated in the ceremony. Seo Gwang-soo, Chairman of the 41st CEO Program Course at the Graduate School of Public Policy, who runs a manufacturer of negative pressure medical devices, joined the members of the Wonwoo Association to make a joint donation of 10 sets of negative pressure devices (a 60 million-won value). The negative pressure devices, which are scheduled to be delivered to Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, are devices that prevent contamination between rooms during patient isolation in the hospital. As such these are important pieces of equipment for maintaining a clean air environment in hospital rooms.

- Daejin University Department of Nursing Held Its 7th Nightingale Oath Ceremony
On November 4th, Daejin University's Department of Nursing held the 7th Nightingale Oath Ceremony. At the oath ceremony held at the international conference hall on the 6th floor of the Central Library, 78 students lit candles in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Kim Ki-hyeon and professors of nursing, and pledged to carry out righteous and devoted nursing activities in imitation of the noble spirit of Florence Nightingale. At the oath ceremony, Dean of the Department of Nursing, Kang Jeonghee, said, “We take pride in having achieved a 100% success rate on the national exam each year ever since our department’s establishment in 2014, and we will our best to nurture future nightingales with strong hearts and cold intelligence.” The Nightingale Oath is an important event wherein nursing students make a commitment to fulfill their beliefs, values, and duties as nurses after completing basic nursing classes and before going to practice in a hospital setting.

- KB Kookmin Bank Donated 100 Million Won to Yeoju Headquarters
At donation delivery ceremony held in the Chairman’s Office on the first floor of New Assembly Hall, Kim Hoe-seop, CEO of the Southern Gyeonggi Sales Group, Han Sang-Cheol, Director of the Gyeonggi Gwangju Financial Center, Lee Hong-Gyu, Manager of Yeoju Branch, and Lee Myeong-Gu, Deputy Manager of Yeoju Branch visited and delivered a donation. President Yun Eun-do spent time speaking with these distinguished guests. On that day, Kim Hoe-seop delivered the donation while remarking, “Kookmin Bank is very interested in societal works and we diligently participate in such activities.” He said further, “I hope we can do many things that can be helpful to our society together with Daesoon Jinrihoe.”

- Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex Held 2021’s Winter Kimchi-Storing
Winter kimchi-storing was held for 3 days from November 12th to 14th at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. A total of 16,000 heads of cabbage were pickled and mixed with seasoning in the courtyard of New Dormitory. Thanks to warmer than expected winter weather, everyone was able to come together to finish winter kimchi-storing.

- A Theater Major from Daejin University’s Theater and Cinema Department Won the Grand Prize and the Creative Arts Award at Hyundai Motor Group’s University Theater and Musical Festival
Theater majors from Daejin University’s Theater and Cinema Department received the Grand Prize and Park Joo-Hyeong, who entered Daejin in 2016, received the Creative Arts Award at Hyundai Motor Group’s University Theater and Musical Festival. The piece they performed, titled The Harmonium in My Memory, is a story that revolves around a new teacher, Kang Dong-Su, a new graduate from a teacher's college who has been assigned to a school in the countryside, and Choi Hong-Yeon, a late bloomer student. The award-winning piece of the festival was planned and prepared entirely by students, and it was performed by 21 actors and 20 staff members made up of 1st through 4th year students.
