  • Large-Scale Cleaning at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex
    On May 25th, a large-scale cleaning was conducted at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. Starting at 6:00 AM, approximately 300 staff members and guards participated in the cleaning, thoroughly washing and organizing the interior and exterior of buildings, including the Daesoon Hall, the New Hall, the Archives Building, and the Gas Station.

  • Gyeonggi Daejin Techno Park Selected as Operating Agency for Manufacturing AI-Specialized Smart Factory Construction Support Project
    Gyeonggi Daejin Techno Park (President An Jun-soo) was selected as an operating agency for the "2026 Manufacturing AI-Specialized Smart Factory Construction Support Project." Hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and supervised by the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Committee, this project aims to establish an autonomous manufacturing foundation for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises by supporting tailored AI specialized for manufacturing site sectors and processes, thereby strengthening manufacturing competitiveness. The target of support includes small, medium, and mid-sized manufacturing enterprises in the northern Gyeonggi region seeking to build AI smart factories. The support types consist of two categories: "AI Factory Construction" and "Data Collection and Verification." The AI Factory Construction category targets the construction of smart factories at or above the level of real-time production information collection/analysis (automated equipment data aggregation), providing up to 200 million KRW (within 50% government support) over up to 9 months. The Data Collection and Verification category serves as a preliminary preparation stage for companies lacking data collection and management systems prior to AI factory construction, offering up to 50 million KRW over up to 6 months. President An Jun-soo stated, "The Manufacturing AI-Specialized Smart Factory Project serves as an important stepping stone to provide full-scale support for the AI transformation of manufacturing companies in northern Gyeonggi Province. We will do our utmost to establish an AI-based smart manufacturing environment so that small, medium, and mid-sized manufacturing companies in northern Gyeonggi Province can secure competitiveness." Meanwhile, Kim Jip, Director of the Specialized Business Division at Gyeonggi Daejin Techno Park, received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the "2026 Northern Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Leaders Conference," organized by the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups and the KBIZ Northern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters, in recognition of his contributions to enhancing corporate competitiveness, revitalizing the local economy, and creating jobs.

  • Conduct of the Ipha (Beginning of Summer) Devotional Offering Ceremony at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex
    On May 5th (March 19th in the lunar calendar) at 20:49, the Ipha (Beginning of Summer) Devotional Offering Ceremony was conducted with approximately 2,700 practitioners in attendance. Ipha (Beginning of Summer) is the tenth solar term counting from the winter solstice, falling between Gogu (Grain Rain) and Soman (Grain Buds), marking the arrival of summer. Around this time, crops begin to grow, and field grass and tree leaves are dyed in fresh green hues. As pests also become highly active, farmers grow busy with pest control and weeding. The Order holds the Four Seasons (Sa-lip) Devotional Offering Ceremonies on Ipha (Beginning of Summer), Ipchun (Beginning of Spring), Ipchu (Beginning of Autumn), and Ipdong (Beginning of Winter), which mark the start of each season.

  • Daejin University Discusses Cooperation in River Conservation and Water Resources with Mekong–ROK Delegation
    On December 19, 2025, Daejin University invited delegates from Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos representing the Mekong–ROK Cooperation framework to hold business discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation in river conservation and water resources management. The event was attended by officials representing the Mekong River Basin nations, including Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Deputy Director General of the Department of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, alongside educational representatives from Can Tho University, Vietnam. Both sides exchanged views on key areas, including: △Measures for river conservation and water resources management △Water management issues in the Imjin River and Mekong River basins △Potential joint projects between Daejin University and Mekong–ROK cooperation institutions. The Mekong–ROK delegation expressed strong interest in sharing educational and research experiences in water resources and environmental sectors. Daejin University aims to enhance its international cooperation, strengthening its position as an educational and research hub connecting Northeast Asia and the Mekong region.

  • Daejin University Signs International Educational Cooperation Agreement with Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture
    On December 15, 2025, Daejin University held an agreement ceremony at its campus to strengthen international educational cooperation with the Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture (MNUAC). The ceremony was attended by President Baterden Chinbat and Professor Choijilsuren Delgerchecek, Head of International Affairs, representing the Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture. The agreement encompasses a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including: △Student, faculty, and credit exchanges △Introduction of dual-degree and transfer programs △Establishment of master's degree programs △Exchange of administrative staff and researchers △Expansion of joint research and academic exchanges △Promotion of short-term study abroad and cultural experience programs. Daejin University President Suk Hwan Jang stated, "We will build an exemplary model of cooperation that fosters mutual growth for both universities."
