Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Was Awarded 1st Class Standing in Adequacy Assessment of Lung Cancer and Other Ailments from a Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service
It was announced in June that Bundang Jesaeng Hospital had been recognized by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service as 1st class in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and anesthesia adequacy assessments. This evaluation was conducted on patients who underwent surgery and treatment at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital back in 2018.

Workers and Guards from Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex Went Potato Harvesting
Workers and guards from Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex harvested potatoes in the fields of Jeokgeum-ri, Gangcheon-myeon on the morning of June 27th. Fortunately, cloudy weather allowed them to avoid the heat of the day while harvesting. All of the Dao cohorts in attendance wore respirator masks throughout the day to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19.

Six High Schools Affiliated with Daejin University Opened Session
Six high schools under Daejin University’s school corporation, allowed high school juniors to resume on-site learning on May 20th. Sophomores followed on the 27th and then freshmen on June 3rd. Students were asked to self-diagnose with a health check-up app at home and go to school only if asymptomatic. During lunchtime, acrylic partitions were installed in the lunchroom, and students sat in designated seats. Faculty members will be taken to the observation room in the case that any students become feverous or exhibit respiratory symptoms. At that point, parents or guardians would be called in to take them home.

The 2020 Spring Conference of DAOS was Held Online
Daesoon Academy of Sciences (DAOS) held its 2020 spring conference from April 18th to 25th. It was held as an online conference to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thirty presenters and commentators participated, engaged in in-depth discussions, and expressed an impressive variety of opinions during each day’s online events.

A Planting Event was Held at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex
On May 18th, Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex held a planting event attended by over 120 participants consisting of upper level clergy members. During this event, all the participants wore traditional, hand-painted masks.
