- The Delegations of Commerce and Trade University and two others from China Visit Daesoonjinrihoe
The nine delegates from Changsha Commerce and Trade University, Chengdu Medical School, and Sichuan City University of China visited Daesoonjinrihoe and its affiliated organizations from Jan. 6 to 8. The delegates discussed Daejin University-transfer, graduate school admission, student exchange program and so on. Starting off with a Daejin University tour, they visited the Yeoju Central Headquarters Temple Complex, the Social Welfare of Daesoonjinrihoe and Mt. Geumgang Toseong Temple Complex.

- The 3rd International Forum on Taoism Held in China
The Daesoon Academy of Science and the Daesoon Institute of Religion and Culture participated in the 3rd International Forum on Taoism sponsored by the Chinese Association of Taoism, which was held in Yingtan City of Jiangxi Province on November 25 and 26. Director Kim Wuk of the Daesooon Academy of Science presented a thesis titled 'Taoist Practice for Health and Well-being: Care and Mutual Beneficence' in the forum. In the meantime, the Chinese Association of Taoism have consistently carried out cultural and religious exchanges for the past few years, promoting researches and comparative studies between Daesoonjinrihoe and Taoism. Through this international forum, it is projected to propagate the Daesoon thought and to actively interchange with the religious leaders and scholars abroad. The forum, which started on Oct. 23, 2011, is the first international religious event held by the Chinese government since the Cultural Revolution.

- Hanoi Polytech College in Vietnam Visits Daesoonjinrihoe.
Dean of Hanoi Polytech College located in Vietnam, Bui Quang Thinh and two others paid a visit to Daesoonjinrihoe to seek advice on advanced systems of Daejin University and the Daesoon Social Welfare Foundation on Feb. 3. The group of visitors had a tour through the Central Headquarters Complex in Yeoju and the Daesoon Social Welfare Foundation and watched a video-clip for Daesoonjinrihoe, followed by a discussion session. Dean of Hanoi Polytech College has delivered the official invitation letter endorsed by Nguyen Van Linh to Seongam Yun Eun-do, saying that the introduction of education and welfare system of Daesoonjinrihoe should enable Hanoi to improve more. Meanwhile, Hanoi Polytech College set up a sisterhood relationship with Daejin University; it has a plan to establish new departments including social welfare, nursing and Korean language.

- The delegation of Daesoonjinrihoe Visits Higher Education Institutions in China
The delegation of Daesoonjinrihoe including Seongam Yun Eun-do and six others visited Kunming Medical School Haewon in Kunming and Yunnan Business Vocational School in Yunnan Province on the invitation of the High Education Center of China from Dec. 26 to 29. The delegation had a working session with Chinese educational officials on interschool exchanges, followed by a full consultation on establishing a large-scale international education center for senior citizens. It is projected to attract more Chinese students and to globalize the human resource development program of Daejin University through student exchanges as well as social welfare services of Daesoonjinrihoe. In the meantime, the Kunming Haewon Educational Investment Group is one of the educational conglomerates, which has over 30,000 members.

- Daesoonjinrihoe Participates in the International Conference Held in Taiwan
From the 8th to the 13th of May, Director of the Academic Dept, Seongam Kim Wuk and five other officials visited Taiwan at the invitation of Prof. Yu Guk-Wi(劉國#) who is affiliated with Dept. of Religious Studies at Foguang University. Prof. Yu took part in the World Conference of Religions in June, 2007 and he was very touched by the faithful and our efforts to keep self-identity as the most Korean religion. He also had a good impression of the fact that Daejin University had inaugurated the Religious Studies Department(Daesoonjonghak or Daesoon Studies), who continued to build a good relationship with Daesoonjinrinhoe and asked the Religious Order to attend the conference held in May 9 and 10. The scope of the conference is "Religious Rite and Cure." The aim is to set the stage for scholars, researchers, and religious leaders to exchange their learning, ideas, doctrines, and experiences by bringing harmony beyond the barrier. Prof. Lee Gyeong-Won from Dept. of Daesoonjonghak presented the significant thesis titled "Religious Symbols Embedded in the Rites of Daesoonjinrihoe." Each country demonstrated a religious rite afterwards. Daesoonjinrihoe put on a demonstration of the Prayer Rite which is done on the daily basis. Each attendee gave unsparing applauds to it. Lastly, the participation in this international conference drew a very fruitful outcome that the religious leaders and the scholars abroad became more familiar with various aspects of Daesoon thought and religious practice, which can be a stepping stone to the propagation of Sangje's virtue throughout the world.
