Daejin Electronic Communication High School always looks to take the lead in environmental protection, and in keeping with that spirit, the school recently signed an agreement to reuse ice packs. Currently, the Geumjeong-gu Office is exhibiting 28 student-submitted posters from the industrial design department of Daejin Electronic Communication High School which promote reusable ice packs.

Representative Kim Seungwon Visited Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation
On June 10th, a member of the National Assembly, Kim Seungwon, of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation. Representative Kim explained that his reason for visiting Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation was his long-standing interest in social welfare. After a meeting with Daesoon Jinrihoe Welfare Foundation Chairman, Yun Eun-do, Representative Kim toured the Welfare Foundation and remarked, “It is both amazing and wonderful that these excellent services and state-of-the-art facilities are operated in each room of this unit, which is made possible through donations from Daesoon Jinrihoe's Dao cohorts.”

Daejin University's Department of Nursing obtained the highest level of certification, a 'Five-Year Nursing Accreditation for the Bachelor's Degree Program' during the 3rd cycle of evaluations for nursing education accreditation conducted by Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education. Nursing education evaluation and certification is a system that evaluates the curriculum, educational performance, facilities, and equipment of nursing programs.

Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Won a COVID-19 Public Health and Welfare Minister Award
Bundang Jesaeng Hospital received a Public Health and Welfare Minister Award for its excellent response to COVID-19. Bundang Jesaeng Hospital continues to operate a screening clinic which began in February of last year. From the start of the pandemic, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital offered a ‘drive-thru screening’ service. The hospital operated an advanced 'screening clinic' system that allows the test subject to have a sample taken without even having to leave their car.

Daejin Welfare Center for Seniors was selected as a Top Ranked institution after receiving an A grade in the 2020 long-term care institution evaluation conducted by the National Health Insurance Corporation. Daejin Welfare Center for Seniors has been honored as a Top Ranked, Grade A institution four times in a row since 2012.
