To foster educational innovation, Daejin University held a three day-long workshop on advanced teaching methodology to enhance teachers' online teaching skills from October 6th to 8th. Various workshops have been held to bring teachers up to speed on online learning as full-scale remote classes are conducted due to the spread of COVID-19.

On October 13th, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital signed an MOU with DTAAS titled, “Business Agreement to Establish Data in the Medical Service Field for Autonomous Driving Robots." This agreement aims to improve the environment of the hospital's medical facilities and enhance the medical work environment using AI programmed robots. The agreement focuses on the development of AI robots for the hospital's medical facilities through the construction and programming of artificial intelligence learning data that can be used within medical facilities.

Daesoon Institute of Religion and Culture at the 11th International Conference of the Journal of East Asian Humanities
The 11th conference of the Journal of East Asian Humanities was successfully held on October 3rd 2020. The theme of the conference was 'East Asian Culture and Traditional Patterns.’ Scholars from China gathered at the Minzhu Building Conference Room at Peking University, and scholars from Korea and Japan attended online due to COVID-related travel concerns. Sixteen scholars representing Korea, China, and Japan made presentations, and from Daesoon Jinrihoe, Choi Chi-Bong, a research fellow at the Daesoon Institute of Religionand Culture, presented his research titled 'A Study on the Bell-Ringing Ritual of Daesoon Jinrihoe.' Attendant scholars conducted active inquiries and discussions despite the limitations of the conferences online format.

Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex’s Sweet Potato Harvest
On October 14th, a sweet potato harvest was held. The harvesting was done through the participation of employees and guardians. Although heavy rains throughout the year prevented a bountiful harvest, the joy of sharing and eating together at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex was every bit as enjoyable as it had been during prior years of greater abundance.

Daejin High School Holds Remote Classes
Daejin High School has been conducting many remote classes and meetings due to COVID-19. Daejin High School has provided full support for campus facilities by opening an additional video studio to provide excellent remote classes to students, remodeling existing classrooms to create a Sangsaeng Cafe, and creating a 'Remote Class Leader Training' program for remote classes. Considerable brainstorming occurred during curriculum organization meetings wherein the improvement of teaching methods was freely discussed.
