  • Daejin University’s CEO Program Alumni Association Held an Athletics Competition for the Developmental Disabled
    Daejin University's Graduate School of Public Policy and Management's Alumni Association held the 7th Dream Barrage Sports Festival on July 1st. At the same time, there was an athletics competition held for adolescents with developmental disabilities in Pocheon City, and this also served as a chance to award scholarships to students. The event was the largest event held since COVID-19 restriction began, with more than 400 people attending. Among those in attendance was President Leem Youngmoon of Daejin University, the heads of local institutions such as Pocheon Mayor Baek Young-hyeon, and alumni members of the CEO course. President Leem Youngmoon expressed his deep gratitude to the Alumni Association of Daejin University's CEO course, which he praised as “... practicing community service and mutual beneficence.” He also expressed his gratitude for “... having been provided with an opportunity for our university to further expand its services for the local community.”

  • Temple Acclimation at Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex Has Reopened
    In light of the easing of COVID-19 guidelines, on Sunday, May 8th, temple acclimation (chambae) was reopened. About 2,000 devotees came to participate in temple acclimation at the Yeoju Headquarters Temple Complex. The participants in temple acclimation, which was resumed after a two-year pause, included small groups from several branch temples and family units. The temple acclimation visitors were first led to pay their respects at Yeongdae Shrine, and then they listened to edifications about Blue Rooster Pagoda (Cheonggye-tap) and the Ox-seeking Pictures. They also attended a group edification held in the meeting room of Daesoon Fellowship Hall.

  • Daejin University Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary
    Daejin University held a 30th Anniversary Ceremony at Daejin University Gymnasium at 2:00 PM on May 12th. The ceremony was attended by University Chairman Yoon Eun-Do and University President Leem Youngmoon. On that day, Daejin University celebrated the 30th anniversary of its founding and presented a vision as expressed via three keywords: 'Turning Thirty,' 'Mutual Beneficence,' and 'Future-oriented.' These keywords are meant to officially declare Daejin University’s goal to lay down a foundation for education, cooperate with the nation and society, and achieve the realization of a proud future society. In a congratulatory speech, University Chairman Yoon Eun-Do remarked, “Daejin University, which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary, is growing into a prestigious private school through the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears of its faculty and staff who have contributed to the development of the university.” In addition, University President Leem Youngmoon said, “I hope that you will reflect upon the will of the founder of our school and strengthen a new determination to apply to your respective position in order to aid in the development and advancement of our university.”

  • Daejin High School of Electronic & Communications teacher, Ahn Sang-tae wins presidential citation
    Ahn Sang-tae, a teacher at Daejin High School of Electronic & Communications, received a presidential citation at the 41st Teacher's Day ceremony held at the International Conference Room of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education on May 13. Teacher Ahn Sang-tae, who is working as a guidance teacher for the "Daejin Saffron & Frontier Volunteer Group," tried to create a society where parents, students, teachers, and local residents live well together through community volunteer activities.

  • Daejin University’s ROTC Held an Event for the Admission, Promotion, and Commissioning of Cadets
    On March 4th, Daejin University's 208th Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) held 2022’s ceremony for the admission, promotion, and commissioning of cadets to celebrate their official appointment at the student center auditorium. The appointment ceremony was collectively held for each college due to COVID-19 restrictions. Daejin University President Leem Youngmoon, the deputy chief of staff of the army, the school’s ROTC commander, and professors were all in attendance that day.
